life and great poetry

Well the last few weeks have been really busy. School ends next week. I’m sad that the school year went by so quickly, and really the last four months have flown by. Kara and I moved into our new apartment. God really blessed us with a place close to the city center, in a good neighborhood with everything we need within a new blocks and close to both the high school and the Springers house.

This weekend, nine people from my church in Sacramento will be flying to Prague to work with a local ministry. I am excited to see some friends and have them gain a heart for the Czech people. I will be posting pictures and updates on their time here throughout next week.

Also, I have a new newsletter that will be emailed to you this weekend.

Will write more soon. For now I will leave you with this:

“This is what you shall do: Love the earth and sun and animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning god, have patience and indulgence toward the people, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul–and your very flesh shall be a great poem.”

Walt Whitman

Because they haven’t heard,
